Door one · The builder

I build what your team has been asking IT for.

I came up through logistics, ran depots and inventory teams and spent most of that time noticing which spreadsheet was quietly holding the business together. In September 2025 a workplace injury ended my driving career, so instead of waiting on a recovery timeline that kept moving I founded Warming Neon Ltd and started shipping software, with AI doing the typing and me doing the deciding.

Stuffrite

Envelope budgeting · Fintech · B2C

A mobile envelope budgeting app for the cash stuffing community. It started as a small tool for my own household and grew into a full subscription product with an automated Pay Day system, debt tracking and a projection engine that shows you where your money lands months from now. The Restore Project is the marketing model: app revenue goes to paying off real users' debts rather than into advertising.

Beta

Stewyrt

Anonymous audio sentiment · AI analysis · Research

An anonymous audio sentiment platform. People answer one question a day out loud, Gemini reads the emotion in the voice and a Three.js brain visualisation shows the collective mood without ever showing a face or a name. I built it because I was tired of every opinion online being flattened into binary outrage. Idea to working beta in seventy two hours, then a much longer stretch making it safe, compliant and honest.

A decision I'm proud of

Early on, reporting a response removed it for everyone, which meant one offended person could edit the collective truth and corrupt the sentiment data. I asked why a report couldn't work like muting a song on a shared playlist, hidden for you and untouched for everyone else. That became the whole moderation model.

Wheels Spin

Vehicle companion · In test

Look up any UK registration, keep a garage of the cars you own and the ones you dream about, log maintenance by scanning the receipt and film a guided 360 walkaround with the phone doing the pacing. Brand theming, MOT and tax reminders and a bug reporting pipeline that files itself into a spreadsheet I manage. Website live at wheels-spin.com.

Runseed

Competitive play · Concept

A platform for a kind of competition that doesn't have a fair version yet. That is as much as I'm saying in public for now, other than that the architecture is written and the core idea is one nobody in the space has built.

Petite Sportif

Game · Concept

A small, loud, ridiculous mobile game with a monetisation model you could explain to your nan in one sentence. Early days. The assets are bought, the design doc exists and the loading screens are going to be the best bit.

All three run on a studio operating system I built for myself to manage planning, development and QA across projects, which I then used to manage the development of the studio operating system. Yes, that is ironic.

Receipts

Things I thought of
before anyone asked.

Working with AI is easy to describe and hard to do well. The bit that matters is what you notice while you use the thing and whether you accept "it works" as an answer. Every item below is something I originated, caught or specified myself while building. I asked the tools to list only what was mine and to leave out anything they had suggested and the record is what it is.

Product thinking

Wheels Spin
Check the plate for free before spending a creditPing the DVLA first, silently, so a typo in the registration never costs the user a paid lookup. Then show the make, year, colour and manufacturer badge as an "is this your car?" step before committing.
Wheels Spin
Let the phone pace the 360 walkaroundI threw out the timer. The capture now detects the starting point with the gyroscope, fills a circular progress ring as you walk and shows a traffic light for too slow or too fast. The guidance itself came from a picture of a piece of string tied to the centre of the car.
Wheels Spin
A receipt scanner that survives oil stainsTap the document to fill date, description and cost in sequence, tap any field again to redo it without losing the others and press and hold for manual entry when the receipt is faded or smudged. Euro prices parse too, because tyres get bought abroad.
Wheels Spin
Valuation freshness you can read at a glanceGreen at a week, yellow at two, orange at three, red beyond a month, switching from days to months at twenty eight. Old valuations collapse into their own section so they stop cluttering the car.
Stewyrt
Management information on my desk at 9amA daily digest email with platform numbers and today's question, so I never have to log into a console to know whether the thing is healthy. Then live user counts folded into every social post as automatic social proof.
Runseed
No screen recorder requiredThe platform records every input natively while you play, so a personal best already has its replay attached and simply overwrites the last one. It removes the biggest friction point in that whole competitive scene, which is volunteers reviewing video by hand.
Petite Sportif
99p for 99 livesOne clean purchase, no subscription, no gacha and a win hands you nine lives back. The loading screens between rounds are tiny ridiculous sports animations rather than a spinner, because the wait is part of the product.

Things I caught

Wheels Spin
An unlimited free lookup exploit, before it shippedThe proposal was to deduct a credit only when a car was saved, to protect users from accidental loss. I pointed out that meant anyone could look up any car forever by never saving. The architecture changed that afternoon.
Wheels Spin
Two tests that were hanging, not slowI was told five to ten minutes was normal for a test suite that size. The project's own logs showed a three second baseline, so I refused the explanation. Two genuinely hanging tests were found and fixed.
Wheels Spin
A fix that passed its own test and failed on the phoneThree rounds of "it still fails" against a parser that worked on a hand built fixture. The fixture was the problem. Real live HTML replaced synthetic ones for every parsing test from then on and I had guessed the second failure was a stale cache before the investigation confirmed it.
Wheels Spin
A dropped line, found by asking one questionA refactor came back fast, so I asked whether anything could have gone wrong without surfacing. A missing image cache eviction had been silently dropped. It would have shipped.
Stewyrt
An agent claiming a fix it hadn't madeThe tool said a template fix was applied. A search of the file said otherwise. I opened the file myself, confirmed the lie, made the edit by hand and deployed it.
Stewyrt
Incorrect information on its way to AppleThe draft reply to App Store review stated a payment provider was integrated. I questioned it, we checked, it wasn't and the reply was corrected before it went.
Runseed
A fraudulent speedrun, from screenshotsOne face up card per column, an ace already in place, the score jumping on the first move. The runner had loaded a nearly solved board. That observation is the reason the whole platform is built around verified seeds.

Standards I set

Wheels Spin
Attribution done properly, not patchedA photo credit stayed attached to the wrong image after a hero photo change. The offered fix was one field. I specified per image, permanent attribution that stays correct regardless of which picture is showing, cached for eternity. It shipped to that spec.
All domains
One email authentication problem became four fixesTold one domain had a DMARC and SPF error, I asked whether the other three had the same issue. They did, nobody had known and all four were fixed. When told Bluehost forwarding was broken industry wide and unfixable, I asked for the documented remedy instead of a workaround.
Wheels Spin
Bug reports that file themselvesOne report, one send, no batching logic living in the app. On arrival an Apps Script drops each report into a spreadsheet with a taxonomy for entry point, error type, screen and device, so I can see in seconds whether a crash is one handset or one Android version.
Studio OS
Reusable means reusableThe planning tool had game specific language baked in and a project name hardcoded in the HTML. I had both made neutral and editable in the browser, then found orphaned storage keys in devtools that would have corrupted state between projects.
What I do

Where operations experience meets AI execution.

Process automation

If your operation runs on spreadsheets held together by goodwill and tribal knowledge, I will build the software that replaces it, with scale already baked in. I have done this inside logistics businesses with nothing more than Excel and a refusal to keep doing it by hand.

Product development

Two live apps with no coding background and no budget. Just a clear brief, AI as the technical partner and an unwillingness to ship something half finished. If your problem needs a product rather than another meeting, I know how to get it built.

AI integration

Most teams either avoid AI or use it badly and get rubbish back. I know how to direct it precisely, catch it when it is wrong and push until the output is good enough to trust. From AI curious to AI productive, without the hype.

Data and dashboards

I have built Excel and Sheets tooling that changed how whole teams operated, including a library of formula engines that a former colleague still runs today. If your data lives in a silo, a filing cabinet or somebody's head, that can be sorted.

Logistics consulting

Compliance, inventory, team leadership and a couple of years driving the trucks. I know where the waste hides and why the IT department's solution never quite fits, because I have stood on both sides of that gap.

Startup collaboration

I do my best work when the problem isn't fully defined and the brief is "make it better than we imagined". Everything I've built has exceeded its original scope, because I cannot help seeing what's possible once I'm inside it.

Show me your biggest pain point.

I will tell you if there's a software solution that fixes it, adds value and saves time. If I can't help I will tell you that too. I don't do vague, I don't do superficial and I won't take your money to tell you what you want to hear.
